|||order to do this, we employ the Pre-school<br>Manager, Deputy Manager and Early Years<br>Practitioners who undertake joint daily planning<br>activities to meet the needs and interests of the<br>children attending the setting. This benefits the<br>children in our care and provides an affordable<br>option for local parents who wish to work or<br>study.<br>The Pre-school has a key person approach to<br>ensure that the progress and wellbeing of all<br>children is constantly monitored and fed into<br>future planning. We ensure that all staff are well<br>trained and able to meet the needs of the<br>children in our care. We listen to the views of our<br>children, parents and staff.<br>We encourage positive relationships with parents<br>and carers. We welcome all children regardless<br>of personal background, faith, gender or personal<br>circumstances and celebrate Britain’s diversity of<br>culture and ethnicity. We believe this philosophy<br>of openness to all enriches the environment<br>through the sharing of life experiences.<br>We have policies and procedures in place for all<br>aspects of safeguarding, child protection and<br>health and safety, and we use staff training days<br>and meetings to ensure all staff are confident in<br>these areas. We follow the recommendations<br>offered by Nottinghamshire County Council and<br>the guidance available from the Pre-School<br>Learning Alliance.|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a whole.|Para 1.20|We have remained a stable but proactive<br>committee of dedicated volunteers throughout<br>the year and are actively seeking to recruit new<br>volunteers for the future.<br>Recruitment has been an on-going challenge to<br>try and ensure we bring in quality staff. We have<br>now welcomed some new team members which<br>is positive and brings new ideas into the setting.<br>During the year we received an Ofsted inspection<br>and received the rating of GOOD. This great<br>result is thanks to the dedication and hard work<br>of the whole team of staff, who over the last few<br>years with the pandemic have adapted to huge<br>changes and remained professional and always<br>caring.<br>Cranmer Pre-school were pleased to be able to<br>hold a graduation for the summer leavers, which<br>was well attended and a nice opportunity for<br>parents to come in. We are planning many more<br>interactive sessions in the future and want to<br>welcome parents into the setting.<br>The Pre-school Committee also held a Summer<br>Fun Run to help with fund-raising which was a<br>great social event.<br>The main fund-raising event of the year was the<br>return of the fish and chip quiz, which saw a<br>great community turnout and raised significant<br>funds for the preschool.|
