**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN CLASSICAL MUSIC, IN PARTICULAR BY SUPPORTING THE WORK OF THE ENGLISH STRING ORCHESTRA

**Activities:** The friends of the ESO have donated over ú200,000 since 1984 providing valuable help sponsoring concerts, arranging childrens and youth educational weekends and improving the orchestra's equipment. Friends act in a voluntary capacity helping with administration and at concerts. The Friends Committee also arrange friends events helping to raise funds for this wonderful asset to our region.
