business
confidence
and activity levels throughout
this
reporting
period with yet further
impact upon public engagement
and
fundraising
activity
right up until the end of this Financial Year.
Notwithstanding
that, the tenacity and commitment
ofthe growing
volunteer
support
team enabled a number
of opportunities
to be pursued,
often at short notice, to continue fundraising
activity through
a much| |||||||reduced
UK public access and outdoor event calendar.| |||||||Meanwhile,
the underlying
organisational
and financial
review,
initiated
during the early phase ofthe pandemic
period, produced a number
of
new initiatives
and change management
recommendations,
to be
enacted
during the course ofthe following
FY22-23, which
will be
reported
on next year by a refreshed
leadership
and management
team.| |||||||Despite the difficult business
environment
continuing
throughout
2021,
financial
performance
remained
buoyant
through
a continuing
re-
evaluation
ofasset holdings
and a re-balancing
ofthe fleet operating
and| |||||||maintenance
regimes. Yet more efficiencies
and opportunities
are
undoubtedly
yet to be explored
but, the continuous
year on year growth
in the Charitable
Trust's Reserves
is testimony
to the outstanding| |||||||enthusiasm
and work ofthe entire Volunteer
team
in an exceptionally| |||||||demanding
