Troasurgr's Roport
The accounts for the year ended 31st December 2023 comprise the Statement of Financial
Activities ISOFAI on page 3, Balance Sheet on page 4 and related notes on pages 5 to 6.
The SOFA comprises an Unrestricted Fund which Incorporates the financial activities for the
year not applied to other stated activities and include5 that ringfenced for the Stone District
Service Team ISDSTI, and Restricted Funds for the Gang Show, District Explorer unit and
grant received specifically for the Squirrels.
The Unrestricted Fund had a surplus of £68412022 surplus £1951. The Gan8 Show Fund had
a deflclt of £891. 2023 being a year that the Show wa5 held and maklng a donatlon of El,089
toward5 the District Levy12022 surplus of £3,130, having received a donation of £4,000 with
Ilttle expenditure). The Explorer Fund had 3 Surplus of £42112022 def icit of £71. No
movement on the Cllmblng Actlvltles Fund which still ha5 £958 to be used solely for that
purpose. Durlng the year a £SOO Early Years Grant was received to be used for Squirrel unit
purposes.
The balance Sheet show5 the Unrestricted Fund having net a55ets of £11,460 includlng £144
for the SDST Fund12022 £10,775 includin8 £200 for SDSTI. The Climbing Fund has net assets
of £958 represented by the bank balance. The Gang Show has net a55ets of £11,655 12022
£12,547). The Explorer fund had reserves of £1,44612022 £1,0251,

I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of the District I'the Tru5t"I for the year ended 31
December 2023, set out on pages 3 to 6.
Responslbllltles and basls of report
As the District's trustee5, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 20111 the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the District's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act
and in carrylng out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act.
Independent Examlner's statement
I have completed my examlnatlon. I confirm that no materlal matters have come to my attention In connection
with the examination whlch give5 me cause to believe that In, any materlal respect..
the accounting records were not kept In accordance wlth sectlon 130 of the Charitles Act; or
the accounts dld not accord with the accountin8 records. or
the accounts dld not comply wlth the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of
accounts set out in the CharStles (Accounts and Reporrsl Regulatlons 2008 other than any
requirement that the accounts give a 'true and falr vlew whlch Is not a matter considered as part of
an independent axamination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters In connection with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the account5 to be
