Trustee selection: Trustees are appointed from the Officers of the Club (President, Secretary, Treasurer and Past Presidents).

Governing Document: Trust Deed dated 7[th] April 1982.

Aims and Activities:

Aims of the Trust Fund:

To raise Funds within Salcombe, Malborough and Hope Cove to support local charities and deserving projects/causes. As well as National and International causes usually within the world wide Rotary Umbrella.

Main activities:

Funds raised by the above are supplemented by public and member donations.

Achievements:

Making Annual Donations/grants totalling over £13,000 including this year a major donation of £10,000 to Cancer Research UK in memory of a stalwart member of the club recently lost before his time. A Summary of these donations/grants is shown in the Trust Accounts. This year we have returned close to the level of income we were achieving before Covid struck. We therefore conclude that this was a successful year in achieving our aims once again.

Additional Governance:

Club and Trust matters are discussed at weekly meetings of members. Once a month there is a Business Meeting at which decisions are made on projects, applications for funding and donations. A Financial Status Report is given at each Business Meeting (bank balances, payments in the pipeline, payments made).
