## OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES 

The aim of the Charity is to advance the education ofchildren below compulsory school age by: 

e Providing safe and satisfying group play in which parents have the right to take part ¢ Encouraging other charitable activities through which parents may help the children e Instigating and adhering to the aims of the Early Years Alliance 

The Charity offers appropriate play, education, care facilities and training courses, together with the right of parents to take responsibility for and become involved in the activities of the group. In setting the Charity’s objectives and planning of activities, the Trustees give serious consideration to the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit, specifically towards the advancement of education to children under school age. 

| Any surplus funds which are not likely to be needed to pay for activities are placed on deposit to earn | interest, ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE We have had a successful period where most sessions were fully booked in Preschool and Holiday Club. The Manager works closely with all staff encouraging them to provide a stimulating and fun i environment for children to learn. We are constantly looking to improve activities, and all staff i contribute their ideas and take the lead when they have attended courses, cascading information to i everyone. e 

All staff understand the importance of safeguarding and have the knowledge of what to look for and who to contact should the need arise. All preschool staff are fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, i Safeguardingtraining platform. and Level 2 Food Hygiene, and can easily access online training on the NoodleNow

We believe we offer good quality childcare at Thrumpton Kids Clubs, the progress of all the children with their learning and development is paramount from the day they start until they leave. We care about all the children who attend and support parents and carers where possible. Parents and carers continue to recommend our group to others. 

‘ LOOKING AHEAD 

Our future plans are financed primarily from fee income and from our reserves. Committee Members need to maintain an equitable balance ensuring our current pupils benefit whilst, at the same time, ensuring the positive contribution to our shared educational aims continues.
