pay for. We have two aims: firstly, to raise
money to benefit our children and secondly, to
promote the strong sense of community that

organisation. Some volunteers also donate
prizes for our raffles. During the current
period, we have set up a voluntary
contribution scheme where volunteers and

other members of the public can voluntarily donate on a regular or once off basis, in order to raise much needed funds for the Lea Primary School and Nursery. These donations are processed through Virgin Money Giving (now discontinued) and KindLink. N/A Other

Para 1.20 All events were run successfully and without
incident, raising Net Income of £8,741. We
received a grant from the Harpenden Trust for
£9,500 which was used to create the Jubilee
Garden. Children in Key Stage 2 benefit from
this outdoor area. The LSA gave £4,165
towards the purchase of new laptops for Key
Stage 2 to enhance digital learning in the
classroom. Voluntary donations were taken
firstly through Virgin Money Giving until the
scheme was closed. A similar scheme was
introduced; KindLink, allowing regular and one-
off donations to be taken. Donations in the
period raised a total of £4,192. Funds raised
are paid over to the school monthly in arrears
to be used at the school's discretion.
