It is the result ofthe merger ofSwindon North and Thamesdown Rotary clubs which took effect on 1"July 2022.

	Summary of the objects ofthe charity set out in its governing document	The main aim ofthe Rotary Club of Swindon North & Thamedown is to put on fundraising events that raise funds which are then distributed to benefit local, national and international charities that are supported by our club and its members. As well as fundraising the club looks to support other community groups and charities by volunteering time and expertise.
	Summary ofthe main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public		Over the last year a number ofevents have been organised by the club to raise funds the major events were aStGeorge's Day Ball, Swimathon, and Sleigh bucket collection. These efforts were backed up by a quiz an organ recital and a 200 club. As a result ofthese fundraising efforts in excess off18,000was distributed during the year to over 20charities. Since the end ofthe year another D1,000has been earmarked to be donated to Charity. With the balance offunds still to be allocated to a charity or voluntary organisation.
