Again a busy year fundraising and raising awareness. We have begun an initiative with our younger volunteers to increase their understanding of canine behaviour by holding sessions at our Centre with trainers, groomers etc. We have seen appalling cruelty and treatment of the dogs we take inti care, and have seen evidence that illegal dogfighting is still taking place. The smaller dogs with awful injuries attest to this. We are arranging to build a sofa room at our Centre Centre to give iur long term dogs some relaxation and home comforts due to be completed this Autumn. Our profile continues to rise – in line with our vet bills, rent and wages! In summary, a good if expensive year, and we are all still committed to our cause. We have experienced significant loss in personnel which does make our job so much harder. Still, onwards!
