The charity exists to provide funds to help patients, financially disadvantaged by theeffects of cancer and other life threatening illnesses and their families to overcome problems in paying for essentials such as travelling expenses, telephone, gas and electricity bills or a much needed holiday.In this way the Charity attempts to alleviate the stress of the patients and their carers.
Objects: The Relief Of Sickness Generally And Without Prejudice To The Generality Of That Object, The Provision Maintenance Support And Improvement Of Care And Facilities Available To Patients Of Any Unit For The Care Of Sick Or Disabled People In Reading Or Nearby And In Particular Duchess Of Kent House (Whether Present Or Past Or Awaiting Admission)
