Finances: Opening Balance - £5005.00 Receipts In - £ 213,769.00 Payments Out - £203,965.00 Closing Balance - £15,068.00 Again this financial year we have been able to finish the improvements to the outside play area with the installation of the pirate ship in December. We ,were able to contribute £2863.00 to the cost of the project alongside the interest free loan of £8000.00 from the Bideford Bridge Trust. It looks fabulous and the children love playing on it. Unfortunately due the Coronavirus pandemic our fee paying income and the number of children we have on roll has declined quite considerably, we have luckily been able to use the furlough scheme to pay staff and keep them employed during this difficult time, however we had had to make the hard decision to implement the redundancies of 5 members of staff in July. This allowed the remaining staff to continue working a reasonable amount of hours.
