3[rd] Bodmin Annual Charity Commission Report 

3[rd] Bodmin Scout Group has continued to grow. It continues to be a part of the Bodmin Community working with Bodmin Town Council and Cornwall Council to improve what is available for the youth of Bodmin 

The Group also helps other charities and Groups within the town. Attending events and helping to organize events for the town. 

The Group has with it structure 1 Squirrel Dray 4 years to 6 years. 2 Beaver Colonies 6 years to 8 years. I large Cub Pack 8 years to 11 years. 1 Scout Troop 11 years to 14 years. 1 Large Explorer unit 14 years to 18 years. A Young Leaders provision 14 years to 18 years. A Adult Leaders Team of 25 Leaders. We also have a waiting list. 

All the sections run a exciting programme which include a lot of out door activities over the year. The list is to long to list. Skills for life, Camping, Walking, Surfing, Games, Visits and Visitors to do talks. 

The Group has a Website and Facebook page. 

The Group owns its Building which is also used by the Community of Bodmin for meetings and different activities. These include Early years Groups, Adult Zumba Group, Guide dog training and many more. 

The Group also has land around the building leased from Cornwall Council. This is for outside activities which include Camping, fire lighting, environment teaching and many more activities. Group from the town and outside the area use the site. 

The Group are in the process of building a new toilet and shower block, Disable access and a activity area, which we have planning permission. 

The Group has a very active Board of Trustees making sure that Group is run correctly
