Trustee Report December 2020 to December 2021
From December 2020 to April 2021 the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts were meeting over Zoom. Activity Packs delivered to their homes, these packs contained cooking ingredients, make materials and grrowing materials. Each week they use these items for their meeting over zoom.. There were about 80 children involved in the meetings. In April 2021 Face to Face restarted outside with restriction. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts then took part in activities and games, ranging from fire lighting , cooking and pioneering. In September 2021 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts returned to a no restriction programme of activities. The programme included Camping, Hikes and visits.
During the period of December 2020 a lot of maintenance to the Scout Building was carried out. This included painting, repair work and up grades.
There was work also carried out on the Site around the Scout Building. The Fire area and Wood store fence off. A Boundary fence put in overlooking a road that runs at the edge of the site. 2 Skip loads of rubbish was removed. This left the building and site ready for Face to Face Scouting.
