Information
Farnsfield Pre-School Playgroup, Chapel Lane, Farnsfield, Newark, NG22 8JP is registered with the Charity Commission (No 1022276) and is governed by Early Years Alliance constitution.

Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Farnsfield Pre-School Playgroup for the year ended 31st March 2025, which are set out on pages 3-5.
Responsibilities and basis of the report
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the financial statements presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the financial statements, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
Independent Examiner's Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connenction with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
a) accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or b) the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Farnsfield Pre-School Playgroup Notes to the Financial Statements
1. Accounting Policies
This year and for future years the Trustees have decided to adopt the Receipts & Payments method in preparing the Financial Statements. Therefore ‘’Expenditure’’ does not include the accrual for the accountancy fee for the year.
The Trustees consider that this is appropriate for an organisation the size of Farnsfield Pre-School Playgroup and ensures that the financial statements are easily understood by the members and other users.
All figures refer to the period 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2025.

There are no related party disclosures. No payments were made to any Trustee or related party in 2024/2025.
