KLCF Annual Report for Charity Commission for year to 31st March 2024 During 2023124, we have continued to run regular Sunday services for members and non-members alike. These have incorporated pralse and worship, prayer, preaching and teachlng. Teaching for chlldren has also been provided and there have been opportunities for soclal Interactlon and practlcal support. We have run: regular meetings for prayer, pastoral support, encouragement, teachlng and practical h81p; events for young people and teenagers; soclal and fun events for church members and others. We have hosted events to whlch people from other churches are invited. We have continued to stream church meetings to ensure that those who are vulnerable or shlelding feel connect8d. Our bulldlng has been used by local voluntary, charitable and other groups for appropriate actlvltles including Blood Donor8, The Stroke Association and the Purfteet Trust. We have supported Chrlstians Agalnst Poverty and Foodbank, provldlng facllltles and funding to support people In severe flnancial need. We contlnue to provlde practical support for people in the communlty who are struggllng financlally, Including provldlng school uniforms and Chrlstmas hampers as well as events at the church that Include free food and actlvltles. We have supported church members and attenders when In hospital. In addltlon to meetlngs held at The Klng's Centre, we contlnue to hold regular Sunday meetlngs, and occaslonal other meetlngs, at TerrSngton St Clement Village Hall. We have supported flnanclally a number of overseas organlsations wlth humanltarlan ald and other practical support. W& hav8 also supported churches and Chrlstian organisatlons locally, reglDnally and natlonally. We have a Flnance and Investment Policy, revlewed annually, whlch allows for Ihe retentlon of reserves up to 2000/0 of annual Income In order to smooth out fluctuatlons In Income and expendlture but also to purchase additional properties andlor make significant improvements to our existing properties.
