Finan¢lal revlew
This yearwe have again experienced a change in our irKome and expenditure. Income recelved from grants,
including funded has increased, but that from fees greatty reduced. A tÈduction in Ihg number of families
using the Out of Sch¢)ol Club provision because of the pandemic is one of the causes.
It is noted th81 expenditijre w8s less this financial year. Siaifing Costs have been reduod with one member
of staff retiring and another being made redundant.
It is the policy of the charity that unrestn.cted funds which have not begn deslgn8ted for a specthc use should
be maintained at a level equivalent to betsveen six 8nd ￿efve month's expenditure. The trustees considers
that reserves at this level will ensure that, in the event of a signfficanl drop in funding, they will be able to
continue the charity's Current activrties while consKleration is given to ways in which addrtional funds may be
raised. This level of rè58rves has m￿ntained thrcMJ9hout thg year.
The trustees havg assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed. aNI are satisfied that systems
