Berrywood School Association Treasurer’s Report 12 months to 31[st] December 2021
Fundraising for the year started slow due the restrictions in place relating to COVID. The first event of the year was held in September with the Colour Run, which was very popular. The Fireworks event (£11,748) and the Xmas Fayre (£5,931) were the biggest fund raisers this year.
In line with previous years, an approximation of the profit for each event has been calculated, this means that some of the expenditure was attributable to several events, and therefore could not be allocated exactly.
Funding for the school was minimal this year due to the lack of fundraising activity, additionally a request has been made to assist in funding an extension to the school in 2022.
As of 31[st] December 2021 funds in the BSA bank account was £18,470.
