Tesu ## **Independent examiner** Kerry Foster ## **Structure, governance and management.** Haywood Road Pre school Playgroup operates as a voluntary aided playgroup in the Mapperley Community Centre. ## **Objectives and activities** **.** Pre-school has The objective of the playgroup is to offer free and affordable childcare in the local community been running successfully in the community centre for over 35 years. It provides high quality pe school education for 2 to 5 year olds and is staffed by dedicated qualified staff, who provide a calm secure and stimulating environment for children to learn and achieve their potential. ## **Achievements and performance** Through fund raising and Grant funding the charity achieved its aims of providing affordable childcare, however the numbers of children dropped significantly this year, which has made the charity use some of the reserve funds. The trustees have taken action . Staffing was reduced, marketing was increased, and monitoring of the financial situation was put in place. ## **Financial review** The net reserves of the charity have decreased in the year but the charity is in a stable financial position. uosJadJ!EU?
