## **Achievements and Performance**

We were delighted to be able to enjoy our Christmas Nativity in person, host our first and very successful Pub Quiz event for parents and local people, run our annual Easter Trail event, take part in the Village Fete again, run Sports Day and celebrate our children at their end of year Leaver’s Picnic. It has been

wonderful to finally celebrate these<br>events alongside our children and<br>with other parents.<br>Staff and Professional<br>Development<br><br>Staff training has remained up<br>to date, including paediatric<br>first aid training. ## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 Whilst this year has been significantly<br>financial position at the  easier post-pandemic, covid still had<br>end of the period an impact on fundraising<br>opportunities during the early part of<br>2021/2022 academic year.<br> Overall, the Pre-School recorded<br>losses of £7925. This however does<br>include £4322 costs (largely salaries)<br>that were paid on the 31 [st]  August<br>2021 and should have been included<br>in the accounts for the prior year).<br>With that taken into account, these<br>loses are less than previous years and<br>show the impact of moving out of the<br>pandemic and returning to our usual<br>running.<br> Accounts are healthy and the Pre<br>School should benefit from<br>fundraising activities recommencing<br>this academic year.
