Objects: 1) In Or Towards Promoting The Efficiency Of The (Staffords) Territorial Battalions, Companies And Units Of The Mercian Regiment In Particular 4 Mercian From Time To Time In Existence In Ways Not Normally Met Out Of Public Funds And Making Grants To Affiliated Units Of The Army Cadet Force (Including Combined Cadet Forces Of Schools) 2) In Relieving Either Generally Or Individually Persons Who Have Served In The Former Units Or Who Have Served Or Are Serving In The Above Mentioned Territorial Battalions Companies And Units And The Dependants Of Such Persons Who Are In Conditions Of Need Hardship Or Distress In Such Ways As The Administrative Trustees From Time To Time Think Fit 3) In Or Towards The Upkeep And Repair Of The Regimental Memorials 4) In Or Towards The Upkeep And Repair Of The Old Colours 5) In Making Grants To The Trustees Of The Regimental Museum Of The Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince Of Wales's) 6) In Paying Subscriptions Or Making Donations To Any Hospital Home Or Institution Having Among Its Objects The Succour In Sickness Or Convalescence Of Officers Or Men Who Are Serving Or Have Served In Any Unit Or Branch Of Her Majesty's Forces 7) In Paying Subscriptions Or Making Donations To Any Charitable Learned Society Or Other Charitable Institution Having Among Its Objects The Promotion And Advancement Of Science And Literature Of The Three Fighting Services Or To Public Museums Relating To British Military Forces.
