Little Drummers is a pre-school based in Hedge End which offers care for
children aged two years to school age. Our aim is to provide good quality
childcare for children in our local community as we believe we are the
foundation of children's future learning. This is managed through our

Section D
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Little Drummers provides term time pre-school sessions for children aged
two years to school age. This year we provided care and support for 32
children and their families.
We managed to hold several fundraising events during the year despite
the coronavirus pandemic. We had a stall at the Christmas lights switch
on in Hedge End and our Christmas Fayre was well supported by our
families. We also held a Nearly New Sale in the spring term and a
sponsored virtual sports week during the national lockdown. All the
proceeds were invested into pre-school resources, purchases this year
included new sand and water trays and individual seating mats.

Section E
Financial review
Brief statement of the
charity's policy on reserves
It is the charity's policy to hold reserves at a level to cover one term's
running costs. The trustees consider that reserves at this level will
ensure that in the event of a significant drop in funding they will be able to
continue to run the pre-school while considering what further action to
take.
Reserves currently stand at £14,154
