The Charity has two fund raising retail shops which are overseen by a Business Manager who has been delegated by the Trustees to manage the day to day running of them. He is assisted by two Managers.

It can be confirmed that Trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission Guidance on Public Benefit when planning activities for the year. 

The Charity has continued to carry out it’s normal activities as follows: 

Organising monthly coach outings for 7 months of the year. 

Providing entertainment in Care and Nursing Homes on a monthly basis within the count of Wiltshire.

The Charity has a policy of awarding grants to Special Needs Schools and other appropriate organisations within the county of Wiltshire. Schools and organisations are invited annually to apply for grants as and when required. All applications are considered by the Board of Trustees and grants are awarded on merit. If applications are successful, and End of Grant Report is required detailing full expenditure and benefits derived from the grant.

Volunteers are recruited primarily to staff our retail shops and assist on coach outings. They all contribute greatly to the success of the Charity.

This was our first full year of operating  post Covid and the main **Summary of the main** achievements of the Charity were as follows: **achievements of the charity during the year** Grants to 6 Special Needs Schools totalling £12,170.00 Organised 7 x Coach Trips, 3 coaches per trip, at a cost of £9,370.00 Provided 156 sessions of entertainment in Care and Nursing Homes at a cost of £10,920.00

I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Imperial Charity for the year ended
31 March 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity's trustee you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the Act'l.
I report in respert of my examination of the charity's financial statements carried out under section 145 of
the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the
Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.
Independent examiner'5 Statement
I have completed my examination. I can confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
the accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Art,. or
the financial statements do not accord with those records,. or
the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and
content of financial statements set out in the Charities IAccountS and Reports) Regulations 2008 other
than any requirement that the financial statements give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the financial
