I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Section C Ob"ectives and activities The objects of the charity are to promote the crafts of tiling and bricklaying and to further education in the crafts of tiling and bricklaying in such ways as the trustees shall in their discretion determine and in particular and without prejudice to the generality to the generality of the foregoing by promoting and financing courses for studying the crafts of tiling and bricklaying- awarding scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries or maintenance allowances to enable any persons to undertake training in the crafts of tiling and bricklaying on such conditions as the trustees shall determine., providing funding for a lectureship in the crafts of tiling and bricklaying tenable on such conditions as the trustees shall determine; presenting awards for tiling and bricklaying either in a new building or in the restoration or improvement of a previously existin buildin so as to encoura e the stud of the crafts of Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

Section E Financial review Brlef statement of the charlty's pollcy on reserves The charity's reserve policy is to maintain a sufficient level of unrestricted reser￿eS necessary to generate the income required to run the charity on a day-to-day basis. None - there is a small deficit on the Montgomery Fund. but Ihis is simply a timing issue as the Montgomery Trustees reimburse the annual costs to the charity after the events has taken place.
