Activities

We no longer operate the Friendship Social Club, we concentrate mainly on the annual Jamaica Day event that we have run for the past 10 years. Please note that although we call it Jamaica Day, we do not charge an entry fee and the event is open to all communities to come and enjoy. To fund this project we depend on grants from various organisations/bodies.

Objects: 1) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Church End And Roundwood And The Neighbourhood Without Distinction Of Sex Sexual Orientation Race Or Of Political Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisuretime Occupations With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants 2) To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person Or Body)
