The Trustees present thelr report on the actl¥ities and financial ￿l￿On ofthe Presthool for the year
ended Au8USt 2025.
Rnancial Revkw
Duflng the year. Little Buds p￿ SdKJoI generated IrKome of approximatety £89.(U)and Incurred
expenditu￿ of approximately £9),1X￿. ￿sU1￿n& in a small 0￿ratIr$ def•oL The Twstees continue
to monltor the financial posliion dosety to ensure the lory-terni suslalnabtutyof tt* settbffd.
The largest area ofexpenditure remains sraffing costs. totall1￿ approximatety £63,(n). The Tfustees
cognise that the Preschool's stsff a￿ its most valuable asset and are 8rateful fortheir continued
dedication, professlonolism. and commitment to provldlwd hl8h*uality earfy years education and
care.
stsfflnl and Oper•knal Chalknys
The increaslng number of thildren attendlng Little Buds Pre School with additional needs has placed
slgnificant pressure on ex&stin8 stsffln8 ￿sourCe￿ Whilst the Preschool femains committed to
providing an incluslve environment and meeting the needs of all children, thls has inewtsbly
increased demands on stsff and operalional upacity.
The Trustees acknowled8e thal current Staffin8 levels are stretched and wnlse the 8eowin8 need
to recruit a pem)anent administrator to support the day-t(Hlay runnin8 of the Pre School. This
would allow teaching stsff and managers to focus more effectively on support5ng children and
deliver5n8 hl8hquality provlslon.
The Trustee5 are also consdous that stsff remuneration does not currently reflect the level of
responsibllity. expertise, and commitment demonstrated by the leam. RlsSn8 operdtivd eosts and
fvndlng pressures have limited the Pre Sthool's ability to Inuease wages to the level the Committee
belie4es staff deseprfe. Thls remalns a key concern and an area the Trnstees wlll contlnue to revlew
as flnanclal drcumstances allow.

Looking ahead, uttle Buds Pre School f￿$ a per5od of uncertaSnty. The two lolnt rnana8er¥ who
have provided marry years of dedlcated leadershlp and ser¥lce. are approachlng ￿tirement. Their
forthcomlng departure raises Important questions re8ardin8 future leadershlp arrdn8ements and the
lon8-term sustsinability of the Pre School.
