Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document During this year the trustees have continued to raise funds to give grants to Paraclete Christian Training Centre in Kuwadzana, Zimbabwe to use in its Bible School, pre-school and secondary school and also to pay bursaries for those childien at the school whose families cannot afford their school fees. Three tnjstees visrted the Training Centre in February 2026. The economic situation is a continuing challenge and the finances of the Centre are stretched. but the staff and pupils were in good heart. The secondary school is facing competition from smaller. cheaper schools springing up, so the number of pupils has dropped. The same can be said for the pre-school_ Overseas aid from PCNI and others is still important lo the Training Centre. Assistance was given this year with the drafting of a new constitution to govern the running of the Training Cenlre. The Bible School is going well and the trustees, presen￿ at graduation was appreciated_ Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) The trustees have also continued to oversee the running of The English Church in Benidom. a spiritual home for many English-speaking visitors, whether short or long tem. Revd Trevor Ramsey and his wife Maggie continue to exercise pastoral responsibilty, but will be retiring soon. One of the Trustees vistled and assisted with a mission visit from Newtownbreda Baptist Church. Attendance by both residents and visitors continues lo increase. Activities at the church have been growing, with good attendance at servi￿$ and Bible studies and evangelistic activity in the neighbourhood of the church. There have been baptisms in the sea and a Christianity Explored course was well attended. The Truslees continue to be grateful to the Board of Skandinaviska Turistkyrkan Benidorm for continuing to rent their building to the English Church. TAR Section D Achievements and erformance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Nineteen students are in receipt of bursaries for Iheir secondary school education at the Training Cenlre and it is vital that the charity continues to raise funds for the operating costs of the school and the cenlre,. so we continue to support as best we can. both financially and prayerfully. The English Church in Benidorm continues to minister lo the needs of both residents and visitors. Services are well attended and Trevor and Maggie Ramsey s oversight of the ministry is much appreciated. Section E Financial review The charity's policy is to maintain sufficient reserves to cover 6 months, expenditure for the work of the English Church. A legacy received during the previous financial year has been placed on deposit until it is required. No reseNes are required to be maintained for Zimbabwe, as all gifts are passed on regulady.
