||||||During this year the trustees<br>have raised funds to give grants to|
||||||Paraclete<br>Christian<br>Training<br>Centre<br>in Kuwadzana,<br>Zimbabwe<br>to use to|
||||||pay salaries for those employed<br>by the training<br>centre<br>in its Bible School,|
||||||creche and secondary<br>school and also to pay bursaries<br>for those children|
||||||at the school whose families cannot afford their school fees. Occasional|
||||||funds for food aid were also sent to be distributed<br>by Centre staff or|
||||||passed on to a local church.|
||||||Because ofthe Coronavirus<br>pandemic,<br>it was not possible for trustees to|

|activities undertaken<br>for the<br>public benefit in relation to<br>these objects (include within<br>this section the statutory<br>declaration<br>that trustees<br>have|||||recognising<br>the difficulties<br>ofoperating<br>in the current economic situation,<br>the finances ofthe Centre are fairly healthy<br>and the staff and pupils<br>in<br>good heart. Overseas<br>aid from PCNI and others is still vital to the viability<br>of the Training<br>Centre. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic<br>the Training<br>Centre had to close temporarily.|

||||||Pastoral oversight<br>of Revd Alan Robertson<br>has been exercised and,|
||||||although<br>he retired at the end of2019he has continued<br>to arrange<br>services. Revd Trevor Ramsey and his wife Maggie have now been|
||||||appointed<br>by PCNI to lead the English Church<br>in Benidorm,<br>and will|
||||||hopefully<br>be assuming<br>their pastoral<br>responsibility<br>at the beginning<br>of|
||||||September.<br>Some ofthe Trustees are hoping<br>it will be possible to attend|
||||||a Service of Induction<br>in September.|
||||||The trustees<br>have had regard to the guidance<br>issued<br>by the Charity|

|Summary<br>ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during<br>the year|||||Twenty-five<br>students<br>are in receipt of bursaries<br>for their secondary<br>school education<br>at the Training<br>Centre and<br>it is vital that the charity<br>continues<br>to raise funds for the operating<br>costs ofthe school and the<br>centre; so we continue to support as best we can, both financially<br>and|||||
||||||prayerfully.<br>One former student|is also receiving a bursary|for university|||
||||||education.|||||
||||||The English Church<br>in Benidorm|continues<br>to minister to|the|needs of||
||||||both residents<br>and visitors. Two|people have been baptised||during|the|
||||||year and services are well attended<br>on the whole. Revd Alan|||||
