THE CLUB IS AN AUTONOMOUS PART OF LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL WHICH HAS 1.4 MILLION MEMBERS WORLDWIDE. ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN LOCALLY IN NORTH DORSET AND SOUTH SOMERSET TO INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS AND OTHER CHARITIES BY WAY OF EQUIPMENT PURCHASES, GRANTS ETC. SUPPORT IS ALSO GIVEN TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CAUSES RECOGNISED BY LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL, PARTICULARLY HEALTH, SIGHT AND YOUTH ISSUES.
Objects: For Such Charitable Purposes Or Purpose According To The Laws Of England & Wales In & Within The Area From Time To Time Comprising The Territorial Area Of The District Throughout The United Kingdom And The Repubilc Of Eire Or Elsewhere &/or To Or For The Benefit Of Such One Or More Charitable Bodies Trusts Associations Institutions Or Organisations For Such Charitable Purposes As Aforesaid And In Such Manner As The Club Shall In Its Absolute Discretion Determine And Select
