Wgarcr achieves its aims & objectives by providing training & information for professionals who work with children, advise, support and advocacy for parents and carers, information and advice for resources, manufacturers and suppliers range of publications and newsletters involvement through membership.
Objects: (A)to Advance The Education Of The General Public, In The Effects Of Racism On Children By Means Of Raising Awareness Of All Those Caring For Young Children That Racism Creates Inequality And Is Damaging And Harmful To All Children As IT Is Against Their Total Human Development. (B)to Advance The Education Of The General Public By Means Of Promoting An Awareness Of Racial Equality Through The Elimination Of Racial Discrimination And Stereo-Typing In Books, Toys And Other Resources Which May Influence Children And Their Upbringing. (C)to Promote, Encourage And Stimulate The Production And Use Of Anti-Racist Resources Which Contribute To The Total And Balanced Human Development Of Young Children. (D)to Adopt The Most Effective Means Of Eradicating Those Resources Which Reinforce And Perpetuate Inequality By Encouraging Equality Of Opportunity Between Persons Of Different Racial Backgrounds Through The Provision Of Education And Information To The General Public.
