The Trust Fund carried out these objects by making grants to charitable bodies to assist them in the furtherance of their charitable aims. The trustees consider that the grants made in the year are for public benefit both in the UK and Internationally for: The relief of poverty and needy; The saving of lives especially disaster relief; The advancement of education; religion; health; citizenship; community development; conflict resolution and reconciliation. The encouragement of the understanding of Environmental Matters including Climate Change.

The receipts this year were£34,638 (2021 £ 34,720) including Gift aid tax repayments of £6,665 (2021 £3,155) 

After making donations totalling £33,907 (2021 £27,233) the balance on the fund stands at £12,508 (2021  £11,832) The main beneficiaries have been The Rotary Foundation Rotary District 1080 - Ukraine Fund Cambridge Aid ShelterBox - for Ukraine Aquabox Kids Out Cambridge Churches Homeless Project BBC Children in Need SOS Childrens Villages- for Ukraine Red Cross – Appeal for Ukraine Cambridge Refugee Resettlement Campaign – for Ukrainians in Cambridge

The **responsibilities of** charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section **trustees and examiner** 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act) and that an independent examination

It is my responsibility to: 

- examine the accounts under section 43 of the 1993 Act, 

- to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act, and 

- to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. 

My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission.  An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.  The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
