The charity has provlded a term-time pre-school facility for the year 2023124 and toddlers playgroup for
under fives and thelr parent￿Carer8 two morlngs per week over temi tlme. The charlty also ran several
fundraislng events indudlng Christmas and Halloween partles. table top sales. summer fayre. raffles. Blngo
nSght and 100 dub draw. These have ralsed funds for the preschool as w811 as benefittlng the wider
community.

Revlew of tho charity's flnanclal posltlon at the ond of the p•rlod
In this year, the charity made a loss of £5,695. Compared to 2022123 income from fees Increased by over
£5,000 with incorne from fundlng slightly behind the prevlous ￿r. Income from fundraising was £4,700 for
the year. which is down the previous year however overall Income was higher than last year by £3,500.
The biggest increase In costs was on salaries and wage costs as the minimum wage was Increased by
9.70A in this year and the playgroup opened on Fridays thus requiring more staff hours. Th18 meant overall
costs were hlgher by £7.882.

Responslbllltles and basls of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charlties Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 14S of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by
the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examinatlon. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examinatlon giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
l accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the
Act; or
2 the accounts do not accord with those records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
whlch attention should be drawn in this report In order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
