The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper books of accounts and preparing, in accordance with applicable accounting standards, consecutive financial statements consisting of a statement of financial activities, balance sheet and notes to the accounts. 

The Trustees are responsible to safeguarding the assets of the Clubs Benevolent Fund and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. 

The report and accounts are prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 2011.
