st TRUSTEES REPORT for the year end 31 December 2024 TEMPLECOMBE VILLAGE HALL Charity no 1017487 The Village Hall has continued having a busy year, the bookings have been good. The regular groups such as Bowls, Keep Fit, Toddler Group, Music Group, Bubble Church, Parish Lunches, Ladies Group and Parish Council meetings have continued to support the hall. A new Art Group has also taken a regular booking. In the summer of 2024 the Committee revisited the proposal to refurbish the toilets. Using plans already drawn up the Committee started to seek ouc grants and started to fundraise. We had a very successful bottle stall at the Village Fete and were able to have the plan of works available for Parishioners to view. We held a coffee morning and helped out at a local Bingo evening which raised money for the Village Hall. By the autumn we had secured funding and appointed a local contractor. An initial meeting was held in November to obtain a quotation with a view to commencing the work in the spring of 2025. We were grateful to the local primary school who helped the Committee circulate a survey to obtain the views to the proposed works from the community. We had excellent feedback. The registration of the recently taken up new lease was also completed. Signed
