**Objects:** (1) PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING, CONDUCTING AND COMMISSIONING RESEARCH INTO THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM AND ITS CONSTITUENT ELEMENTS INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR AREAS OF CHANGE AND INNOVATION WITHIN THAT SYSTEM, EMERGENT TRENDS AND NEW FINANCIAL PRODUCTS; AND  (2) PUBLISHING OR OTHERWISE DISSEMINATING THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH AND PROVIDING A FORUM FOR ITS DISCUSSION.

**Activities:** The CSFI is a non-profit think-tank, established in 1993 to look at future developments in the international financial field - particularly from the point of view of practitioners. Its goals include identifying new areas of business, flagging areas of danger and provoking a debate about key financial issues. The Centre has no ideological brief, beyond a belief in open markets.
