**All the riders talk of the enjoyment they**
**derive from the rides with pilots in particular**
**describing it as a life-changing activity. The**
**activity delivers benefits for their physical**
**and mental health as well as being a welcome**
**social activity. The pilots would maintain that**
**they derive similar benefits.**
**The Club has also appeared in local news,**
**printed and broadcast, raising awareness**
**among the public in general of the needs,**
**challenges and achievements of visually**
**impaired people.**

**surrounding area and some who travel to the**
