Report of the Trustees
(Registered number: 02775700)
The directors present theirtwenty-ninth Annual Report and Financial Statements of the Company for
the year ended 31 December 2023.
Objectlves and Actlvltles
The Mission is established for the advancement of evangelical Christianity in Spain. To this end it
supports fina ncially, practically and in prayer the activities of its sister organization Mision Evangélica
Espafiola.
These aims are carried out through pastoral and evangelistic work in 3 churches in Spain and through
the operation of the Mission House, a Christian conference centre.
We believe these aims are of public benefit. These included:
Sunday services at the 3 churches in Spain which are open to everyone.
Other Bible-based activities in these churches.
The distribution of a twice-yearly magazine and a monthly prayer update to supporters of the
Mission in the U K.
Structure, Governance and Mana8ement
The Company is a registered charity under a Trust Deed registered with the Charities Commission.
The Memorandum and Articles of Association set this out. We also have a set of Principles and
Practices which cover some of the day-today matters affecting the running of the Mission,

First and foremost we look for those who are evangelical Christians with an interest in the proclamation
of the gospel in general and in Spain in particular. Within those parameters our aim is to have a balance
of skills and experience appropriate to the work of the Mission. Suitable candidates are generally drawn
from those with whom we have had previous contact in a variety of ways.
The following persons served as directors of the Company during the year:
Mrs J. Thackerav

All Directors are members of the Company and guarantee to contribute to the assets of the Companv
in the event of it being wound up such amounts as may be required not exceeding £1.
Achlevements and Performance
The Mission continue5 to support pastoral and evangelistic work in three evangelical churches in Spain
as well as similar work in a number of other locations where there is no formal church connection.
The Rlsks to the Chafitv
There is a risk to the Charity in being dependent on donations being received by cash, cheque and
standing order, but there are no system5 to control this.
The geographical areas of operation and the scope of the work carried out by the Mission are such that
we do not believe that our workers are subject to any risks over and above those of everyday life.

Financial Review
The trustees have established a resetves policy wherebythe unrestricted funds are sufficient to cover 3
months, overhead expenses. However, asthe Mission relies entirely on voluntary donations the degree
to which this is achieved fluctuates.
Plans for Future Periods
We continue to review plans for the future development of the work of the Mission. There are many
areas of Spain with little or no clear gospel witness and our desire would be to extend the work into
these areas. However, as has always been the case, we wait upon God to call men and women to serve
Him in Spain and when that happened we would determine, in consultation with the workers in Spain,
where such additional personnel could be best used.

Respective responsibilitles of trustees and examiner
The charity's truste¢s are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the
Charities 201 l Act).
It is my responsibility to:

My examination was carried out in accordance with the genernl Directions given by the Charity

items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning anv
such matters. The procedures undcrtakcn do not providc all the evidence that would b¢ required in an

no Ihe report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiner's ststement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable
cause io believe that in any material resp¢¢t the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities 201 l Act. and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accountino
requirements of the Charities 201 l Act
