THE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE EXCHANGE (ITE) is an umbrella organisation. It facilitates the exchange of information, knowledge and experience on international amateur theatre, international amateur theatre festivals and events relating to international amateur theatre between members and any amateur theatre organisation in England Scotland and Wales that seeks advice.

Objects: To Promote,maintain,improve And Advance Education Particularly By The International Exchange Of Knowledge And Practice In The Arts Of The Theatre,and The Advising And Assisting Of Students,teachers And Practitioners Of The Arts Of The Theatre,to Provide A Centre In The U.k.for The Collection And Dissemination Of All Types Of Theatrical Information And The Convenient Handling Of All Types Of International Theatre Exchange
