WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO CONSIDER ANY INDIVIDUAL APPLICATIONS & WILL RESTRICT OUR GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS. IN ORDER TO HELP 6-8 PERSONS PER YEAR WE HAVE TO SIFT THROUGH 1,000 APPLICATIONS. THE ACTIVE TRUSTEES COULD ONLY TACKLE THIS VOLUME WITH THE AID OF PAID STAFF, WHICH WOULD BE WASTEFUL.

Objects: To Relieve Poverty Whether In The United Kingdom Or Elsewhere And Whether Amongst The Jewish Community Or Otherwise And In Particular To Help Those Starving In Africa And Asia And For The Advancement Of Educational And Scientific Objectives Directed To The Relief Of People Who Are Disadvantaged By Reason Of Handicap, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Both In The United Kingdom, The State Of Israel And Elsewhere.
