The Raymond Williams Society exists to support and develop intellectual and political projects in areas broadly connected with Williams's work.We organise Annual Memorial Lectures and support or run a range of conferences, symposia and seminars concerned with education, culture, the media, drama, and the future of socialism. We produce Key Words: a Journal of Cultural Materialism.

Objects: To Promote Improve Develop And Maintain Public Education In And Appreciation Of The Importance Of The Work Of The Author Raymond Williams And Its Bearing On Future Cultural Practices In All Its Aspects By The Presentation Of Public Lectures And Discussions And By Such Other Ways As The Society Through Its Committee Shall Determine From Time To Time
