Objects: The Object Of The Charity Is The Relief Of Need Arising From Financial Hardship, Sickness, Disability Or The Effects Of Old Age Amongst Men And Women Who Have Served In A Conflict Or Operations In An Area Designated By The Armed Forces Or Hm Government As A Recognised Operational Area And Who Either:(1) Live Or Have Lived In Cambridgeshire And Have Served In Any Unit, Sub-Unit Or Detachment Of The Armed Forces Or The Merchant Navy (Including The Mercantile Marine Serving Under The Conditions Of The Shipping Taken Up From Trade By Hm Government); Or(2) Have Served In A Unit, A Sub-Unit Or Detachment Of The Armed Forces Or Merchant Navy (Including The Mercantile Marine Serving Under The Conditions Of The Shipping Taken Up From Trade By Hm Government), Based In Or Linked To Cambridgeshire.
