The Sonic Arts Network merged with 3 other new music organisations in October 2008, after which time it ceased to transact any business. The new organisation is called Sound and Music.
Objects: To Promote The Education Of The Public By Encouraging The Understanding Appreciation And Development Of Music And Principally (Although Not Exclusively) Electronic And Multimedia Electro-Acoustic As Expressed In Any Medium Or Form In Chamber Choral Operatic Orchestral Ballet And Other Music For Every Variety Of Ensemble And For Solo Voices And Insrtumentalists Experimental Mechanical Electrical And Electronic And Other Instruments And Sources Of Sound For Performance In And With Any Medium In Or With Which Sound May Be Associated
