The Hanbury Charity in the parish of Church Langion is regulated by a Kherre of the Charity
Commissioners dated 28th February 2008 undw the power given in the Charities Act 1993.
Under the scheme the net income of the charity, after ddudion of expenses, is to be applied a5

1120th Relief in Need for iesidents of the parishes known as Yhe Langton5"
1120th for Relief in Sickness also f(x the residents of the aforementioned partshes.
111 Oth for the 'Church Fund. wimarily towhrds the c05t of woviding musrc in the churches
of Church Langton, Thorpe Langton and Tur Langion.
The remainder of the income to be applied to=
a) The provision of items. services and facilities the School and any othu School
substantially serving the pereferred area.
bi The promotion of educathon linc1L￿Ing religious ￿ucatIon in accordance with the
principles and doctrlnes of the Church of England and social and physical training of
p&sons undw the a8e of 25 who are, ￿ have a parer)t or parenls resident in the area of
benefit and who are in need of financial assistance, with a Preferen￿ of suth persons who
e, or have a parent or parents,resident in ihe preferred area.
The trustees of the Hanbury Charity are also appointed lo be the trustee5 of the Hanbury
Educational Fund established by Statutory Instrument 21X)5 No. 25 made on 10 january 21X)5
made under se￿lOn 554 of the Education Act 1996lbl, whereby the trustee5 shall apply the
income, and may apply the capital thereof, for the educational purposes specified under clause
27141 of the scheme briefy ￿ated al item 4 above.

I report on the accounts of the Trust the year ended 31 March 2023,
which are set out on pages 2 to 7.

The charity's trustees ate respon51ble for the prep¥aiion of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider thaf an audit 15 not required f(x this year under section 144121 of the Charities Act 201 I (the
2011 Acts and that an independent examination is needed.
Having satisfjed myself that the charity is eligible lor independent examination,
