The objects of this charitable trust. as set out in the Trust deed dated 28th May 1992, are to
pay and apply the capital and income of the trust fund to such charities or for such
charitable purposes as the tJustees shall determine. In practice the trustees retain the
capitsl sums involved. most of which are invested in st(th and shares, but distribute the
income therefrom. In accordance with the wshes of the settlor (now deceased), particular
priorities indude smaNer tharities and organizations con￿Med with the welfarg of the
elderly, children and animals. especially those based or operating in Co￿ntry and the
West Mldlands.
Ttr￿ trustees meet in ￿der to revi8w the trust's finances and to consider applications for
the fnancial grants.
In the year under ￿vIeW. the Irust re¢er4ed Income from investments totslling £25.402
(£20.301). £30.300 {£21,000) was distributed to 25 dlaritable undertakings in the following
proportions: at £2.400, three at £1.800. ten at £1.200, seven at £900. and three at
£600. Over the years, the trustees have established a fairly regular pattem in relation to
those Charitss which the trust supports. and all available funds are effectivety committed
for the foreseeable future. New applicants are theref(Ke unlikely to be successfvl for the
time being.
As at 05104122, the market value of the trust's inveStn￿ntS (originally £4(KI.000) stood at
£857,452 {£824.694) and accumulated income totalled £11,892 (£18,540).
Dealing with investments, the trustees have retained the Charity Fund Management
Services of Investec which prO￿deS quarterly reports with portfolio valuations and advice
on investment policy as and when appropriate. It is neither the policy nor the Practi￿ of
the trustees to buy or sell invesiments to any appreciable extent save on specific advKe.
