ANNUAL REPORT OF ALL NATIONS FOR CHRIST
AIMS AND ORGANISATION
The Charity's objects are
-
To relieve poverty, sickness and the distress arising there from.
-
To propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to further religion and other charitable
work connected with the Christian Religion.
- The advancement of education.
Relieving poverty and deprivation within the local community and globally around the world
The 12-month period from April 2023 to March 2024 has been another year of
God’s grace and goodness. We have again sought to uphold God’s glory and
endeavoured in faithfulness and commitment to Jesus to fulfil His purposes for the
church as outlined in the church’s mission and vision statements.
All Nations Church is committed to seeing the purposes of God being established as we
pursue the vision ; as such this report will use that as a guideline.
The church is currently a building for worship and fellowship, where community events also take place on a weekly basis
Following our risk assessments post Covid precautions all parts of the building are used and accessible to the community we serve .
Over the last year we have seen a lot of young people engaging with our services in the form of both mid-week activities both in person and on online platforms, specifically Facebook and Zoom.
Over the last year we have also had several community engagement events with the local Police force and fire service which has been very successful in bringing the underrepresented groups together.
Vision and Purposes
Worship
The Sunday celebration ,and weekly fellowship in person and online, via live streaming and then to
Facebook premiere continues to be a great success . We thank God that the services produced have been well received by the congregation and has been accessed by many others outside of the local area and further a field
We thank God for all those who take part in the production of the online services for
their time, effort and video presentation
We thank God for all who call ANFC home and not only attend regularly but also serve,
pray and give to see God’s Kingdom established and extended. Groups meet during
the week as a core part of the church strategy to provide discipleship, community,
pastoral care and encouragement.
.
Discipleship
As a church we have used our Sunday celebrations and bible study Groups as a primary avenue
for discipleship. The Life Groups are essential not just in deepening fellowship and
community in the church but as a place for people to grow and learn together in a more
relaxed and informal setting.
The church is committed to releasing people to fulfil their God given ministry by helping
them to discover their God given shape. Members continue to volunteer in ministries
outside of the church.
Moving forward
We continue to have full in person services where attendance is very good
The church has been very giving pre the pandemic but due the cost of living crisis and a lot of younger members with small families donations have got smaller ..
A lot of our outreach ministries take place and we have seen a growth in numbers through these outreach ministries. One of these outreach ministries was the Warm Space that was started in January of 2023. This has been very successful in seeing individuals in our community able to come in and have a hot meal each Wednesday
We continue to have weekly services on Sundays as well as a prison outreach team and a very thriving youth department at the current time .We also have a counselling provision in place for members and people in the community .
Various Community support sessions as below are in place a over the last year and have been conducted
Career Event , Supported by many organisations throughout the city
Coffee mornings for the Elderly
Baby and Toddler group
Dementia Awareness
Money management
Heath and wellbeing
First Aid
Health safety trng
Youth involvement Events
Over the next year we are hoping to grow in numbers with a vision to extend and have a Family Centre”. This will support families within the community of Normanton
At Christmas we was able to host a charity event supporting a Child Residential facility in Kenya as well as supporting members in the church
.
Evangelism
The church used the recognised calendar dates to good effect with special emphasis on
Mother’s Day, Father’s day, Easter, All Nations day
Operational Running
The church has continued to maintain financial viability whilst seeking to fulfil the
purposes, mission and vision that God has called us to. The last 12 months have been
challenging due to the post pandemic and cost of living issues but despite this the church was still able to run at an operational surplus for the year. Much of this surplus will be invested in ongoing online ministries to upgrade and install the necessary technology to improve and increase our online
presence and community. We thank God for His generosity and favour towards the church, and the
sacrificial giving of many within the fellowship despite the ongoing pressures on families and individuals.
Conclusion
It has been another year of hard work and great blessing for ANFC
.
Approved on behalf of the Trustees Committee of All Nations For Christ :
Kind regards
Sonia Dawkins
