Community. Brltlsh Muslim Association offers quality support services that are culturally,1Snguistically &
rell8lously appropriate for people from South East Asia. BMA explores ways of workin8 effectively with a
wide range of service providers and commissioners.
At BMA we have been raising money for our cause for many years now, and our dedicated team In Hallfax
work hard every day to find ways to fundraise. raise awarene55, and encourage the local and national
community to get Involved. We are a charity working to improve the lrfe chances of vulnerable people at
rlsk, and Indlvlduals sufferin8 disadvantages due to their socio economlc fartors In¢ludin8 mentsl health
Issues.

quality of life of individuals and communltles withln Calderdale, with a particular focu5 on those from
South Asian. Eastern European, and Middle Eastern backgrounds. including Roma Gypsy, Albanlan. Czech,
Polish, and Slovak comrnuniiies. Our charitable objectives are:

posltion at the end of the year. In preparing those financial statements giving a true and fair view the Trustees

accounts carried out under Section 145 of the 2011 Act and In carrying out my examlnatlon I have
followed all the applicable directions glven by the Charity Commission under Sectlon 14515llbl of the Act.

I have completed my examlnation. I confirm that no rnaterial rnatters have come to my attention In

These Financial statements are prepared on the going concern basis. There are no materlal
uncertaintles in respert of the company's ability to continue as a 80in8 COn￿rn. The Finandal
ststements are prepared under the historical cost convention, on an accruals basis. in
accordance with the Companies Act 2LI)6 and applicable accounting Standards in the U.K.

modified by the revaluation of investments to market value.

Investments are ststed at market value. Realised and unrealised gains or losses on Investments
