Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document TAR March 2012 1. Christmas Concert 2024 performing Handel's Messiah and Christmas Carols in Capel Berea, Bangor Gwynedd. The concert was a sell out and the audience fully appreciated the theme of Christmas. Applause was plentiful. 2. In June 2025 we performed our major concert namely Edward Elgar's Dream of Geronlius in the Pritchard Jones Hall, Bangor University. We were assisted by the Liverpool Welsh Choral Choir and through grant funding were able to use world famous soloists namely Gwyn Hughes Jones, David Kempsler and Leah Marian as well as having a large orchestra to produce a memorable concert for over 400 attendees. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) The Trustees believe that both these concerts were for the benefil of the public and fulfilled the objectives of Cantorion Menai. The latter concert was a resounding success and received excellent reviews in the local press. TAR March 2012 Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year 1.The Christmas Concert 2024 performing Handel's Messiah and Christmas Carols was well attended and received by the Local Community It helped promote the meaning of Christmas and the Spirit of Goodwill at this special lime of the year. 2.ln June 2025 we perfomied our biggest concert lo date namely Edward Elgar's Dream of Geronlius in the Pritchard Jones Hall Bangor University with a large orchestra and world famoLts soloists namely Gwyn Hughes Jones, David Kempster and Leah Marian. Dr Terry Waite was an invited guest and he gave a talk about his lime in captivity in Beirut and how the choral work Dream of Geronlius was so inspirational for him personally al that time. We were also assisted by the Liverpool Welsh Choral Choir and the concert was a resounding success. Over 400 people attended and everyone enjoyed the concert immensely and excellent reviews appeared in the local press. 3.The choir has achieved and maintained previous high musical standards throughout the year and all members have enjoyed the performances in both COn￿rtS.
