**Objects:** WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH TO (I) RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF ELDERLY PERSONS AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF SUCH ELDERLY PERSONS; (II) TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF HOMELESS PERSONS; (III) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (IV) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN BELOW STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE; (V) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS PARTICULARLY AMONGST ELDERLY PEOPLE AND HOMELESS PERSONS IN NEED;

**Activities:** The charity provided facilities for the elderly at a day centre held in St Michael's Church Hall. In addition to providing meals and refreshments, other activities included bingo, Tai Chi, dance, art & craft classes. These services are provided five days a week. Outings and entertainment are also arranged and all help to alleviate the loneliness of the elderly residents of Battersea and Wandsworth
