advance the education of the pupils of
the school by providing and assisting in
the provision of facilities for the
educatlon at the school (not nomially

Covid restrictions had been mainly lifted
this year. The main fundralser from last
year was postponed to begin our
fundralsing this year, and again repeated
at the end of the year, making this a
particularly successful year for
fundraising (our family fun night, raising
£4,376 in June 22 and £3.389 in Sept
2021). Other significant events and
profits were Christmas disco £1,258,
Spring raffle £1,397, Summer dtsco
£1,547 and Easter disco £1,334.

New funds were raised in a varlety of
ways:
Parents gave one off payments {voluntary
contributions), some of which are eligible
for gift aid.
Local businesses supported us through
monetary conlribution, Christmas tree
supplies and raffle prizes {two raffles
held).
Online sales to school families were

items were paid for online and sent home
with the chlldren (Halloween bags.

association. The contribution by each
individual varies. A core group of
approximately 12 parents contribute to
the main planning of èvents. who are
strongly supported by the teachlng staff.

The additional educational provisions
made by the charity have enhanced the
learning, enjoyment and love of learning
In Its pupils. The fundraising events
themselves have been dual purpose,
allowing the children to enjoy their
educatlonal setting. building
relationships and confidence, as well as
raise funds to glve them further
opportunltles to learn. It has built
stronger bonds belween parents and staff
which strengthens the understanding and
shared responsibility to nurture pupils
and assist them in achieving their
potential. The rocket fund and outreach
for support to the wider community and
businesses has given the community a
shared ownership in the success of the
school and its pupils.

and IT equipment for the pupils to use for

A strong year of fundraising with £22.760
raised after costs, which includes £2.358
donated as voluntary contributions from
parents and £2,493 in gift aid against
previous years Rocketfund.
School trips and workshops resumed
after pandemic restrictions so spending
was closer to a normal year, although still
lower than usual. The charity started the
year with £26,780, spent £7,412 on school
benefits, £5.438 donated to the school
and ended the year with £22,896 plus

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2022. 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or 

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
