## Activities

**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY PERSONS OF IRISH DESCENT, WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM BY ASSOCIATING WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND THE INHABITANTS TO (A) ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE AT THE SAID COMMUNITY. (B) ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE COMPANY AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECT. (C) ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN IRISH CULTURE AND HERITAGE. (D) RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS.

**Activities:** The principal objective of the charity is to promote the benefit of the community, particularly but not exclusively persons of Irish descent within the London Borough of Lewisham.  To this end we provide premises, staff and volunteers for the following services:Advice and Advocacy services,  Children and youth services , volunteer programme , clubs, classes and social events.
