ACTIVITIES, DEVELOPMENTS, ACHIEVEMENTS :the selection rescheduled due to Covid-19 Pandemic was successfully carried out following the AGM this year, we thank the chairman V S Virdi and the 5 independent community members for their invaluable help . The Gurdwara remains under easement of control to prevent the spread of the Covid-19. This year we have lost some of our supporting members including our respected treasurer Mr.Avtar S Virdee and Ms.H J K Lal .This year we have celebrated the 30[th] Anniversary of KRD the Trustees would like to thank G S and A K Jheeta and the team of volunteers for being instrumental in propagating a successful family event for the community well attended and enjoyed by all factions of the community. The Trustees welcome the new selected committee to serve for the two year term. The trustees are pleased to report the continued support for Mr. Harvinder Singh and his family and will review at end of year. This year has seen complete upgrading of fire safety equipment, Gas safety, Electrical safety has also been reviewed. During this year we have had Police chiefs, Medway inclusion team, Gillingham cubs and three school visits for pastoral services a total of 133 children/ community members. Our hearts and condolences go out to all the families that have lost loved ones.

This year called on humanitarian act of supporting the Street Angels and the Ukrainian conflict working with other charities in the community to deliver cooked meals donated by the volunteers. We have been fortunate to modify delivery of our objectives within the financial constraints this year. Maintaining services and health and safety as the utmost priority to keep everyone safe. We continue to liaise with Kent Police and crime stoppers for crime prevention. The management continued to support the efforts of the Medway Gurudwara Council and the Medway Diversity Forum to help all overwhelmed by the end of life services and religious practice and Medway Interfaith integration. We work closely with our local users Gillingham football, Medway Hindu Parivar and the Yoga group .Covid-19 lockdown has caused lasting problems , however we are hopeful of a road to recovery.

FINANCES: By the will of the almighty God we remain financially sound despite the low donation income. Our thanks to Mr. Jaswinder S Kalsi our independent examiner of accounts and his team for extremely helpful advice on standing orders and procedures and New Bond Accountants for their help. All projects halted will be prioritised again in the near future, we will look for funding advice from our local finance advisors. We have now reopened our services and functions and have paid off all arears for services incurred during the lockdown of covid-19.

The management will continue to review local future needs for the benefit of the public, optimistically.

I would like to congratulate and thank all members of the management committee and the donors especially for their extra efforts this year and encourage them to keep up the good work and anticipate their commitment to the charity in these challenging times that the Covid-19 has inflicted upon the world.
